The Department of Energy?s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) is soliciting feedback from industry, academia, research laboratories, government agencies, and other stakeholders on issues related to advanced biofuel, bioproducts, and biopower technology validation and potential deployment strategies. EERE is specifically interested in information on advanced biofuel, bioproducts, and biopower technologies that are ready for technology validation at a Technology Readiness Level of 6 or higher.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather feedback from stakeholders prior to DOE potentially issuing a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). This RFI is not a FOA; therefore, DOE is not accepting applications for funding at this time. All responses to this RFI must be provided as an attachment (in Microsoft Word format or PDF) to an e-mail message addressed to DDRFI@go.doe.gov.
