Description: The purpose of this program is to increase the local capacity and sustainability of the response to the HIV and AIDS crisis in Zambia by engaging local indigenous faith based partners to provide HIV/AIDS Prevention, Treatment and Care services that were initiated in 2004 under the PEPFAR-funded HHS/CDC and HHS/HRSA HIV clinical services and antiretroviral treatment program. This program promotes the transition of United States Government-funded health programs to host country ownership for improved sustainability by engaging local and indigenous faith based organizations.
