The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is offering a Cooperative Agreement for organizations to develop and operate a comprehensive Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) ethics training program. This grant seeks to establish a nationwide OHV ethics training initiative, identify and enhance existing opportunities, and coordinate courses on outdoor ethics for motorized and mechanized recreation. Grantees will also assist in developing statewide OHV ethics training programs. The ultimate purpose of this grant is to educate Federal, State, and local land management agency staff, OHV volunteers, and the public, thereby enhancing trail management on various land types through improved OHV ethics education. The initial period of performance is one base year with up to three option years.
