Description: |
This is not a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government to issue any NOFO, or ultimately award an assistance agreement on the basis of this RFI, or pay for any information voluntarily submitted as a result of this request. USAID is not obligated to procure any of the services described herein, nor in no way be committed to utilize submitted information or issue a solicitation as a result of this request. The issuance of this request will not restrict the Government’s ultimate approach, if any. The purpose of the new Early Grade Reading and Remediation Activity is to increase the number of students achieving grade level reading levels, provide remedial “catch-up” education, and address the social and emotional needs of learners in grades 1-3 returning to school in the post-COVID-19 context. The Activity will also be open to providing remote and hybrid education services as needed. Beyond remedial education, the Activity will seek to build upon the accomplishments from the USAID Read Program to improve reading proficiency of all learners in target areas to enable students to progress in their education and reduce repetition rates. |
