This study focuses on the incorporation of paleoecologic core analyses into hydrologic linear regression models. These analyses will utilize empirical observation-based data to construct linear regression models that relate estuarine salinities to wetland hydrology in the Greater Everglades ecosystem. These analyses will reconstruct pre-alteration hydrologic conditions, which are essential for establishing targets and performance measures for restoration of the Greater Everglades Ecosystem.
