The BJA and OVC are offering this grant to establish Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Forces aimed at comprehensively combating all forms of human trafficking, including sex and labor trafficking affecting foreign nationals and U.S. citizens, adults and minors. This grant seeks to update the Department of Justice’s multidisciplinary anti-human trafficking task force model, incorporating contemporary relevance and lessons learned. Awards of up to $500,000 will be made. BJA awards will support law enforcement agencies coordinating task force goals with U.S. Attorney’s Offices and victim service providers. OVC awards will support victim service organizations in coordinating comprehensive, culturally appropriate services for all identified trafficking victims. This grant is for enhancing anti-trafficking efforts through collaborative, comprehensive approaches.

Additional Information on Eligibility: | Applicants are limited to state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies and nonprofit victim service organizations with a demonstrated established relationship and capacity to successfully partner among themselves and key stakeholders to support an enhanced approach to identifying, rescuing, and assisting victims of all forms of human trafficking. Applicants will only be eligible to apply if their application is made in conjunction with an application from a law enforcement agency or a victim service organization. Recipients of awards under this solicitation must be located in the community, jurisdiction, or geographic area specified in the application. Grantees currently receiving human trafficking funding from BJA or OVC are eligible to apply for this funding. (See “Eligibility,” page 4, for further information.) |
