The NIH is offering this grant through its INvestigation of Co-occurring conditions across the Lifespan to Understand Down syndromE (INCLUDE) Project. This grant is for supporting meritorious small research projects aimed at improving health and quality of life for individuals with Down syndrome. Funding will primarily support the analysis of genomics, other -omics, clinical, and phenotypic datasets related to Down syndrome research. A key purpose is to elucidate the underlying etiologies of risk and resiliencies to co-occurring health conditions. Proposals may also include the development of new approaches, tools, or algorithms for data analysis, and initiatives to facilitate data sharing within the research community via the INCLUDE Data Hub.
