Grants are intended to address challenges and barriers faced by the MSI research community in developing collaborative opportunities. Funding enables universities and SBCs to engage in substantive conversations along mutual areas of interest, goals, and long-term outcomes. The goals of this planning grant are to stimulate creative engagements between MSI researchers and SBCs on areas of mutual interest and develop mutually beneficial relationships that result in new technologies supporting the NASA mission and commercial market development. The desired result is to enable viable partnership for competing in the annual STTR solicitation. The outcome of this planning grant activity is thoroughly prepared MSI/SBC teams with action plans to respond to the annual STTR solicitation release. |
