The U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Public Affairs Section (PAS), is offering this grant for organizations to implement two exchange programs targeting Afghan higher education administration professionals, including deans, chancellors, and HR directors. These two to three-week travel programs, scheduled for Fall and Spring 2011, will mirror the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) experience across multiple U.S. cities. The exchanges will focus on critical themes: maintaining academic quality during institutional growth and restructuring, and developing effective policy and management strategies for growth. Successful proposals must outline a plan for implementation, collaborating with both local Afghan and U.S. partners, to provide participants with professional development and a cultural introduction to the United States.
