The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a grant agreement to the Wildlife Management Institute (WMI) under authority 15.655 and the Fish and Wildlife Act of 1956, as amended (16 USC 742a-742j). The Services proposes to cotinue to have the Wildlife Management Institute to serve as fund administrator and sub-contractor for Arctic Goose Joint Venture activities which WMI has been doing for more than a decade and has facilitated multi-state and international wildife efforts since its inception in 1911. WMI has developed an internation reputation of trust and competency among North American natural resources agencies and professionals. WMI administers ongoing agreements and relationshps with several North American agencies and Universities, facilitating the conduct of AGJV activities. |
