This grant is for the purpose of enabling AASHTO to operate and manage the V2I Data Center (V2I-DC) with ITE and ITSA. The initiative will create a centralized framework for comprehensive stakeholder input from owner/operators, accelerating Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) deployment activities. The V2I-DC will ensure alignment, coordination, and technical exchange among all connected vehicle and infrastructure deployment stakeholders. Funding also supports peer interaction, events, webinars, conferences, and professional capacity building. It will disseminate state-of-the-art V2I-DC information and identify specific research needs, collectively advancing connected vehicle and infrastructure technologies.
