The Regional English Language Office (RELO) within the U.S. Embassy Islamabad’s Public Affairs Section is offering funding through its Public Diplomacy Grants program. This grant aims to enhance human capacity by fostering a healthier, better educated, and more skillful workforce in Pakistan. The initiative seeks to boost English language proficiency and classroom effectiveness among teachers and students. This is achieved by facilitating professional development for Pakistani English teachers, including sending them to the United States, and by bringing U.S. English Language Specialists to Pakistan. Proposals should align with Mission Pakistan’s public diplomacy goals, focusing on education, professional and academic exchanges, cultural connections, and leveraging alumni networks to achieve long-term objectives.
