The USFWS is offering this grant to support the Children & Nature Network (C&NN) in expanding the role of the Natural Leaders Network (NLN) in their annual Grassroots Gathering. This grant is for the purpose of empowering young people, aged 15-29, who comprise NLN, to actively participate in reaching younger children and youth with direct experiences in nature. Support will be provided for the core NLN team to take a more active role in the planning, design, implementation, and facilitation of C&NN’s annual conference and 2012 work plan, including attendance and participation.
