The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is offering this grant to Utah State University to assume responsibility for the maintenance of the Utah Natural Heritage Program (UNHP). This grant is for the purpose of transitioning the UNHP’s rare and native plant database, and potentially the entire program, from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources to Utah State University. Funding partners have expressed a desire for Utah State University to take over this critical stewardship role.
