This particular FY2011 project will help to meet this goal, by supporting an on-going state and federal initiative that has been using cultivated plants grown from previously collected wild seed as (1) transplants for re-populating sites on BLM land in Harney County, and (2) nursery stock for bulking wirelettuce seed in cultivation to support the on-going recovery program for the species.
