The NIH Blueprint for Neuroscience is offering this grant to establish an integrated resource for exploring, analyzing, and downloading processed, deidentified human brain single-cell transcriptomics and epigenomics data. This resource will harmonize reference and disease datasets, generate a unified cell type taxonomy, and provide a draft annotatable cell-type nomenclature. Users will be able to map their single-cell omics data to this taxonomy. This pilot initiative aims to lay the groundwork for an expanded and sustained effort, significantly increasing the utility and accessibility of human cell-type classification data across various NIH consortia. This grant is for creating a foundational data exploration platform for brain single-cell omics.

| Description: | The NIH Blueprint for neuroscience is soliciting applications to pilot the establishment of an integrated resource for users to explore, analyze and download processed deidentified human brain single-cell transcriptomics and epigenomics data that is harmonized across reference and disease datasets. The resource will generate a unified cell type taxonomy, provide users with a draft annotatable cell-type nomenclature, and the ability to map community generated single cell omics data to the taxonomy. This pilot will lay the groundwork for an expanded and sustained effort to increase utility and accessibility of human cell-type classification data across multiple NIH consortia. BD |
