The U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) anticipates offering cooperative agreements to enhance labor market efficiency in the Northern Triangle region. This grant aims to establish robust Labor Market Information (LMI) systems that will empower educational and workforce training providers to equip job-seekers with in-demand skills, assist businesses in identifying and hiring qualified workers more easily, and enable governments to formulate effective labor market policies. The initiative will also support the generation of LMI data comparable across all three countries involved. This is a Notice of Intent; interested organizations should monitor grants.gov for the forthcoming Funding Opportunity Announcement, expected around June 2017, as applications are not currently being accepted.
