The NIH Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH), with its cosponsors, is offering institutional career development awards through the Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health (BIRCWH) Career Development Programs. These programs are designed to support the mentored research career development of junior faculty members, known as BIRCWH Scholars. This grant specifically targets individuals who have recently completed clinical training or postdoctoral fellowships. Scholars will engage in vital interdisciplinary research spanning basic, translational, behavioral, clinical, and/or health services. The primary focus of this research must be relevant to women’s health or address significant sex differences. This initiative aims to foster a new generation of researchers dedicated to advancing knowledge in these critical areas.
