This funding opportunity aims to support projects that contribute to the sustainable stewardship and health of rangeland ecosystems across Colorado’s public lands. Initiatives funded by this grant are expected to address critical areas such as maintaining ecological balance, improving rangeland productivity, conserving biodiversity, and enhancing the resilience of these vital landscapes. This includes activities like sustainable grazing practices, invasive species management, wildfire prevention and rehabilitation, and watershed protection. The grant seeks proposals that align with the BLM’s mission to manage public lands for multiple uses and sustained yield, ensuring the long-term vitality of Colorado’s natural resources for current and future generations.
