The Advanced Energy Systems (AES) program focuses on improving the efficiency of coal-based power systems, increasing plant availability, and maintaining the highest environmental standards. Applications are being solicited under this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) to develop emerging gasification technologies that may be advantageously reduced to practice at the modular small scale to support accomplishment of program goals via the Radically Engineered Modular Systems (REMS) concept. |
