Agency Name: Bureau of Population Refugees and Migration
Description:

The Department of State’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) seeks applications from eligible organizations to develop, implement, and manage the infrastructure for the Welcome Corps, a private sponsorship program for refugees.

The operations for this program include six key components and support two specialized programs—Welcome Corps at Work and Welcome Corps on Campus—that enable private U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to sponsor refugees with employment and higher education arrangements.

The Welcome Corps aims to increase community involvement in refugee resettlement, complementing PRM’s Reception and Placement Program by providing new opportunities for individuals and organizations to have direct engagement in supporting refugees.
