Additional Information on Eligibility: This Funding Announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the Bureau of Land Management’s intention to fund the following project activities without full and open competition.

Agency Name: Bureau of Land Management
Description: This agreement will authorize a long term partnership that enables BLM to share funds, skills and expertise of the Bois Forte Heritage Center (BFHC) and THPO. The BFHC, THPO, and BLM are jointly interested in the identification, evaluation, stabilization, monitoring and long-term protection of cultural and traditional resources located on BLM lands in northern Minnesota. The BFHC and THPO will provide local and on-the-ground expertise to assist BLM in managing these resources while providing formal training and workshops for Band members, elders and Tribal enrollees interested in gaining skills in heritage resource management, site stabilization and protection. Bois Forte Band members and others will be incorporated into a volunteer-based program providing long-term services (such as monitoring and recordation) and assistance to BLM.
