The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Research Programs is offering the Scholarly Editions and Scholarly Translations grant. This grant is for the purpose of supporting collaborative teams engaged in the meticulous editing, annotating, and translating of foundational humanities texts. The primary goal is to make vital scholarly materials more accessible, especially those currently unavailable or only existing in inadequate editions or translations. While the focus is typically on significant literary, philosophical, and historical works, applications concerning texts from other humanities fields are also encouraged. This initiative ensures the preservation and widespread availability of crucial intellectual heritage for current and future scholarship.
