| Description: |
The U.S. Embassy Kinshasa of the U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce that funding is available through its Small Grants Program. This is an Annual Program Statement, outlining our funding priorities, the strategic themes we focus on, and the procedures for submitting requests for funding. Please carefully follow all instructions below. The Small Grants Program invites proposals for programs that strengthen ties between the United States and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Programs should create opportunities for bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest and highlight shared values. All programs must include a U.S. element, such as an expert, organization, cultural element, or institution, that will promote increased understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives. The U.S. Embassy Kinshasa seeks to engage the public, civil society, media, and influencers at all levels of Congolese society and across the DRC with the goal of broadening understanding of U.S. policies, culture, history, society, and values. |
