This grant, the Street Outreach Program (SOP), is specifically designed to provide crucial street-based services for vulnerable runaway, homeless, and street youth. Its core purpose is to protect young individuals who are either at risk of, or have already been subjected to, severe forms of human trafficking, sexual abuse, prostitution, and exploitation. Services are strategically delivered in areas where street youth congregate, empowering them to make healthier life choices. The program offers direct access to vital resources including shelter, essential basic needs such as food and hygiene packages, and comprehensive information on a broad spectrum of available support services. This initiative is fundamental in ensuring the safety, well-being, and future prospects of at-risk youth.
