NOAA’s Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR), National Sea Grant College Program, is offering this grant to establish or continue a National Sea Grant Law Center. This grant is for universities to submit two-year proposals for a center that will integrate into the broader National Sea Grant network. The Law Center’s purpose is to conduct integrated research, education, and outreach concerning ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes resources, fostering a partnership between the federal government and universities. Beginning February 1, 2012, one award is anticipated. Recipients may qualify for subsequent noncompetitive awards if programmatic and performance conditions are met.
