The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is offering this grant to support states in developing and implementing certification systems for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs). This grant is for the purpose of helping states establish Prospective Payment Systems (PPS) for Medicaid-reimbursable services and prepare an application to participate in a four-year CCBHC Demonstration program. SAMHSA expects meaningful involvement from consumers, youth, family members, and communities in these planning efforts. The ultimate goal is to expand opportunities for states to improve access to and delivery of coordinated, comprehensive behavioral health care through CCBHCs.
