The Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (State) is offering a crucial grant designed to combat invasive and noxious plant species within Oregon and Washington. This funding opportunity supports comprehensive management efforts vital for maintaining healthy ecosystems and biodiversity across the region. The grant is specifically for projects focused on the prevention, control, and eradication of harmful plants that threaten native habitats, wildlife, and land productivity on public lands. Through strategic interventions, recipients will implement techniques like surveying, mapping, mechanical removal, and targeted treatments to mitigate ecological damage. This initiative highlights the Bureau of Land Management’s commitment to sustainable land stewardship and restoring ecological balance. Eligible proposals should outline clear objectives to achieve significant, lasting impacts on public lands.
