This Geobiology and Low-Temperature Geochemistry Program grant is for advancing research into geochemical processes within terrestrial Earth’s surface systems, including their vital interaction with biological processes. It encourages comprehensive proposals encompassing field, laboratory, theoretical, or modeling studies, applicable across all spatial and temporal scales. The program specifically seeks to fund transformational and cutting-edge research, alongside the development of innovative geochemical proxies and analytical techniques. This highly interdisciplinary grant, offered by the Geosciences Directorate, interfaces broadly with other programs across NSF, including those in biology, chemistry, and engineering, fostering collaborative advancements in geosciences.
