The Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) is offering this grant to fund programs specifically targeting the needs of Syria. This grant is designed to support organizations with proven capacity to manage significant projects aimed at promoting justice and accountability efforts. This includes fostering community reintegration and reconciliation processes vital for post-conflict recovery. A key purpose of this grant is also to safeguard and expand civic space within Syria, ensuring a vibrant environment for civil society. Furthermore, the funding will extensively support survivors of torture, sexual and gender-based violence, and other atrocities. The DRL invites Statements of Interest from eligible entities outlining impactful project concepts to address these pressing humanitarian and human rights challenges in Syria.
