The Bureau of Land Management is offering this grant to financially support management-focused studies on its National Conservation Lands. This program seeks to enhance our understanding of the resources present, the values these areas protect, and the effectiveness of BLM’s resource management decisions. This grant is for the purpose of developing and maintaining strong partnerships with State, local, university, tribal, and non-profit stakeholders. By engaging partners in conducting these vital studies, the program aims to gather the best available data and synthesize information. The results will inform management strategies throughout BLM and other land management entities, supporting BLM’s land management decision processes, citizen science, and tribal co-stewardship initiatives for shared conservation stewardship.
