The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is offering this grant to expand access to high-quality, comprehensive Early Head Start services for low-income, migrant, and seasonal infants, toddlers, and their families. This grant is for the purpose of establishing Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships or directly expanding Early Head Start programs. Approximately $5 million is available to improve child care services and educational opportunities for vulnerable populations. Eligible applicants include public entities, private non-profit organizations (including community- and faith-based groups), and qualifying for-profit agencies. Due to federal emergency declarations, applicants in Alabama, California, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Oregon have an extended deadline of October 5, 2020. All other applicants must submit by September 21, 2020.
