Description: The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Lusaka, Zambia is seeking applications restricted to qualified local organizations for funding a five-year program to support the Government of the Republic of Zambia’s (GRZ) goal of eliminating gender-based violence (GBV) in a holistic, systematic and comprehensive manner through a multi-sectoral and multi-dimensional approach. The purpose of the STOP GBV Prevention and Advocacy Project is to decrease societal acceptance of GBV, enhance protective factors and improve the enabling environment to respond to GBV. Through this project, outreach efforts against GBV will be expanded, communities will be mobilized against GBV, and political and institutional commitment to GBV prevention and response with GRZ will be strengthened, as fully described in the following Request for Application (RFA).
