The Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation (OPRE) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) offers the Family Self-Sufficiency Demonstration Development (FSSDD) Phase 2 Awards. This grant is a continuation for prior FSSDD awardees. Its dual purpose is to build recipients’ internal evidence capacity, strengthening services and improving outcomes for families, and to expand the evidence base on interventions for families eligible for or at risk of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). Awardees must also plan for a sustainable evidence-driven culture, share learnings, and collaborate with a federally funded technical assistance provider throughout the award.
