Additional Information on Eligibility: Applicants are required to submit documentation that addresses the responsiveness criteria. Applications that do not address or meet the responsiveness criteria may not receive further review. Documentation may be submitted as an addendum to application package and uploaded as a document labeled LPPSResponsiveness.pdf to www.grants.gov.

Applicants must demonstrate they have the public health authority to govern, regulate, deliver, implement, and enforce policies, codes or requirements for childhood lead poisoning prevention to ensure that a comprehensive, statewide system exists for the identification, referral, and follow-up of children exposed to lead.
If applicant does not have public health authority, the applicant must supply a memorandum of understanding (MOU), memorandum of agreement (MOA), or notarized letter that indicates they represent or are an administrative partner to a childhood lead poisoning prevention program with public health authority for the jurisdiction.
Applicants requesting an award greater than the award ceiling will be considered as non-responsive.
