The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) plans to offer a grant supporting multisite feasibility studies of mind and body interventions, such as meditation, yoga, or acupuncture, aimed at whole person health restoration. This R01 Clinical Trial Required grant seeks to establish foundational work for future large-scale efficacy trials and explore mechanisms underlying emotional well-being. Studies must span at least two distinct sites, demonstrating intervention fidelity, reproducibility, and assessing the feasibility of participant recruitment, retention, randomization, and data collection. Applicants should explore correlations between mechanistic targets and clinical outcomes using the Whole Person Health Index. Multidisciplinary teams experienced in complementary and integrative health, clinical trials, and mechanistic research are encouraged to prepare. This notice provides lead time; applications are not currently solicited.
