| Additional Information on Eligibility: | The Principal Investigator (PI) who will head up the Marriage Strengthening Reseearch & Dissmination Center must conduct research as a primary professional responsibility, and have published in the major peer-reviewed research journals in the field as a first author or second author. The PI must have a Ph.D. or equivalent for his/her field, and should be an established expert as demonstrated by a substantial body of published work, including peer reviewed articles. The PI must have experience and skills related to healthy marriage research, evaluation, and methodology. The PI should also have experience in collaborating across multiple disciplines, including working with researchers and practitioners. Acceptable evidence includes a current curriculum vitae or biographical sketch. The proposed Project Manager (PM), who will be the central person managing the Marriage Strengthening Research and Dissemination Center, should have a Ph. D. or have a Masters with 10 or more years of experience conducting research. The PM should have a track record of managing large scale research projects, involving a large team, such as experience conducting multi-site research studies. Acceptable evidence includes a current curriculum vitae or biographical sketch. Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this funding opportunity announcement. Applications from individuals (including sole proprietorships) and foreign entities are not eligible and will be disqualified from competitive review and from funding under this announcement. |
