The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is offering Child Care Research Scholars grants, a significant initiative to support dissertation research on crucial child care policy issues. This grant program is specifically designed to build robust research capacity within the early care and education field. Its purpose is to encourage scholars to focus their investigations on questions that directly inform child care subsidy policy decision-making processes. Furthermore, a core aim of this grant is to foster valuable mentoring relationships between established faculty members and high-quality doctoral students. By supporting rigorous academic inquiry and professional development, the ACF seeks to ensure that evidence-based research contributes meaningfully to shaping effective child care policies. Funding is contingent upon availability and government interest.
