The Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) is offering this grant to address the critical societal challenge of enhancing American agricultural competitiveness while working towards ending global hunger. This grant is designed to achieve the long-term outcome of increasing food availability and significantly decreasing the number of food insecure individuals. This grant is for the purpose of funding various project types, including single-function Extension Projects and multi-function Integrated Research, Education, and/or Extension Projects. Additionally, Food and Agricultural Science Enhancement (FASE) Grants are also supported to foster comprehensive solutions to secure food for all.
