Eligible Applicants: Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
Private institutions of higher education
Additional Information on Eligibility: The individual awards will be made to a U.S. institution of higher education, industrial laboratory, or non-profit research organization where the principal investigator is employed on a full-time basis and holds a regular position. Researchers working at the Federally Funded Research and Development Centers and Government Laboratories will not be considered for the YIP competition. The principal investigator must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident who has received a Ph.D. or equivalent degrees in the last five years as indicated in Section I of the BAA.
