Agency Name: Air Force — Research Lab
Description: The objective of this BAA is to invite proposals from educational agencies, colleges, universities, and other nonprofit institutions that can assist the Air Force in supporting technology transfer activities, especially those within the aviation and aerospace fields. Technology transfer ensures Air Force science and engineering intellectual property is transferred or intentionally shared with state and local governments, academia, and industry through the use of technology transfer mechanisms including, but not limited to: Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs), Patent License Agreements (PLAs), and Educational Partnership Agreements (EPAs). The exchange of knowledge, expertise, equipment and testing facilities leverages the Department of Defense (DoD) research and development investment to address the needs of the Air Force warfighter and accelerates transition to the warfighter.
