The Astronomy & Astrophysics Department is offering the Partnerships in Astronomy & Astrophysics Research and Education (PAARE) grant. This grant is for stimulating the development of formal, long-term partnerships aimed at improving the quality and environment of astronomy and astrophysics research and education. The objective is to provide authentic pathways into the research enterprise and significantly broaden participation by encouraging proposals from historically underrepresented groups. These partnerships must create substantial opportunities for student and faculty research, ultimately increasing the recruitment, retention, and success of these individuals. It is expected that these collaborations will build or strengthen research capacity and cultivate a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment within the partnering institutions.
