The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is offering the Eastern Oregon Restoration and Planning Partnership grant to advance strategic ecological priorities, focusing specifically on sage grouse planning and conservation in Eastern Oregon. This grant is for fostering collaboration between public and private land managers, enabling them to gain a better understanding of management options and identify effective adaptive practices. The partnership will provide essential information and technical assistance for BLM lands that hold exceptional ecological importance, including areas with rare plant/animal communities and habitats of federally and state-listed species. Furthermore, the BLM will work with partners to identify, evaluate, and provide management and monitoring recommendations for natural resources, review management plans, and monitor conditions within existing and potential Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs) and other high-value BLM lands.
