The Department of the Interior, specifically the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Nevada, is offering this grant to support critical efforts in invasive and noxious plant management. This grant is for the purpose of combating the spread and impact of non-native plant species that threaten Nevada’s diverse ecosystems, native flora, and wildlife habitats. Funding from this initiative aims to facilitate projects focused on the control, eradication, and prevention of invasive plants across BLM-managed lands. Such efforts are vital for preserving ecological integrity, enhancing biodiversity, and supporting sustainable land use practices. Projects could include manual, chemical, or biological control methods, restoration of affected areas, and monitoring programs. This grant underscores the department’s commitment to maintaining healthy, resilient landscapes for future generations.
