The BLM OR-WA is offering a grant for a collaborative project with a non-profit organization to produce a suite of video products titled ‘Willamette River: Pasts and Futures.’ These videos will explore the ecological and cultural history of Western Oregon’s Willamette River watershed and its uncertain future. Targeting conservation groups, PBS television viewers, and students, the series will combine an ecological portrait of this large and complex river basin with a summary of the significant cultural and environmental changes it has undergone. This grant is for the purpose of creating educational and engaging documentaries to raise awareness about the Willamette River’s past, present, and future challenges.
