The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah is offering this grant to establish and operate air quality monitoring infrastructure in the Uinta Basin. This grant is for the purpose of supporting current and future energy development while ensuring environmental stewardship. It will facilitate the deployment of a long-term monitoring station in the Vernal Field Office near Fruitland, collecting data on ambient concentrations of ozone, oxides of nitrogen (NOx), and meteorological parameters.
