Description: | The BLM is looking to enter into an agreement with a partner to monitor, evaluate, and report on the overall rangeland health and trends of rangelands identified as crucial to the survival of big game in Utah, as well as sagebrush-steppe restoration areas being completed under the Watershed Restoration Initiative, and greater sage-grouse habitat. We are also looking to coordinate efforts through BLMâ¿¿s Assessment, Inventory and Monitoring (AIM) Strategy and HAF to enhance national data layers and to meet one of our primary goals of integrating monitoring activities to avoid duplication of efforts and to be more efficient in our monitoring activities as needs are identified. The objectives are:
â¿¢ Promote healthy rangelands and contribute to the legacy data that can be used by BLM to assist in assessing the condition and trend of rangelands on public land throughout the state. |
