The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming is offering this grant to provide valuable educational and work experience for conservation corps students. This grant is specifically designed to support the conservation and preservation of archaeological sites impacted by fireline construction. Students will collaborate with the BLM to rehabilitate firelines that were regrettably bulldozed through significant archaeological sites at the Whoopup Canyon fire site. The initiative aims to restore these culturally important areas while providing practical, hands-on training in conservation and archaeological preservation for the next generation of environmental stewards.
