The Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) is offering this grant opportunity, inviting Statements of Interest (SOI) from organizations dedicated to advancing human rights in China. This grant is for programs specifically designed to protect and promote human rights within the country. Interested organizations should propose activities that directly address human rights concerns in China. A crucial aspect for submissions proposing collaboration with diaspora or overseas groups is the requirement to clearly justify how such activities will directly benefit citizens residing in China. The DRL seeks innovative and impactful proposals to foster and uphold fundamental human rights principles. This initiative underscores DRL’s commitment to supporting efforts that strengthen democratic values and human dignity within the specified region.
