The Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) is offering this grant to engage a qualified vendor for a critical study on recidivism among offenders under federal community supervision. This collaborative initiative, pursued through a cooperative agreement, aims to work alongside BJS and the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts (AOUSC) to thoroughly investigate the rates and patterns of reoffending. The primary objective is to gain deeper insights into the factors contributing to recidivism within the federal correctional system. This grant is specifically for developing and executing a comprehensive study that will provide valuable data to inform policy and practice related to federal community supervision and offender reintegration, ultimately enhancing public safety.
